PlayStation posts October top downloads by platform
Sony Interactive Entertainment on Wednesday released PlayStation Store charts for October that put Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 at No. 1 on PS5 in both the US/Canada and the EU. The company said the monthly lists show which PS5, PS4, PS VR2, and free-to-play titles were downloaded the most.
BeamNG.drive landed in the top three on both PS5 regional charts, according to the PlayStation Blog post. Other PS5 entries near the top included EA Sports FC 27 and Phantom Blade Zero in both regions, based on the listings provided.
On PS4, Red Dead Redemption 2 led downloads in both the US/Canada and the EU. Batman: Arkham Knight and EA Sports FC 27 were among the top entries across the two PS4 charts, the lists show.
For PS VR2, Hard Bullet ranked first in both regions. Horizon Call of the Mountain, Beat Saber, Job Simulator, and I Am Cat also made the PS VR2 charts.
In free-to-play titles on PS5 and PS4, Once Human led in the US/Canada while Fortnite was first in the EU. Call of Duty Warzone and Roblox were also among the top free-to-play downloads in both regions.
“The open road and gunplay led the charts in October,” the PlayStation Blog post said.
