Sony Interactive Entertainment introduced the Prism Collection, a line of transparent DualSense wireless controllers and PS5 console covers, in a PlayStation Blog post dated Oct. 28. Pre-orders begin Nov. 10, 2026, and the products launch starting Feb. 4, 2027, according to the post.

The collection comes in three colors: Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray. The company said each is finished with a glossy sheen. It said the clear finish extends across the back of the controller and shows the technology inside.

The DualSense controllers will sell worldwide for a recommended retail price of $84.99 in the United States. Other listed prices are 12,480 yen including tax, 84.99 euros and 74.99 pounds. The matching console covers have a recommended price of $74.99, or 9,980 yen including tax, 74.99 euros and 64.99 pounds.

The covers will be sold exclusively directly from PlayStation in regions where it sells direct. In other regions, the company said, they will be available in limited quantities through select retailers. The regions where PlayStation sells direct are the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal and Italy.

Pre-orders open Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. local time, both from PlayStation and from participating retailers. In the United States, that is 7 a.m. Pacific time or 10 a.m. Eastern time, through direct.playstation.com. In the United Kingdom and the European countries where PlayStation sells direct, pre-orders will run through playstation.com/store/hardware.

The company said the exact launch date and availability may vary by country or region. It also said actual retailer prices and availability may vary.

Leo Cardoso, a member of the company’s Color, Material, and Finish design team, said the designs aim to revive a past style. “We wanted to bring back the iconic see-through trend of the late ’90s in a fresh, modern way that complements the PS5’s industrial design,” he said.

Satoshi Aoyagi, who works on the same team, said the controller has a metallic finish on the middle cover. He described the orange as taking on a rosy hue where the transparent material overlaps. He described the green as a deep hunter green and the gray as a cool-toned storm gray.

The post did not say whether the collection includes any other products or whether more colors are planned.
