Xbox names November Indie Selects, six games featured
Xbox on Wednesday named six games for its November Indie Selects, a curated set of indie titles featured in the Xbox Store and on Xbox.com/IndieSelects, according to Xbox Wire.
The company said the Indie Select Hub offers a fresh collection and four themed spotlights that rotate weekly. The November picks emphasize survival, puzzle-solving, action, and rhythm-based play.
The six featured games are Silver Pines from Team17, Graveyard Keeper 2 from tinyBuild, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 from Devolver Digital and Big Fan Games, Colorbound from Whitethorn Games, Ratatan from Game Source Entertainment, and Tenebris Somnia from New Blood Interactive. Xbox Wire listed prices of $24.99 each for Silver Pines, Graveyard Keeper 2, Boltgun 2, and Tenebris Somnia; $14.99 for Colorbound; and $34.99 for Ratatan. The post noted a free trial for Graveyard Keeper 2.
The post described Silver Pines as a 2D survival horror game with map photo annotations and exploration across an interconnected map. It said Graveyard Keeper 2 continues a medieval role-playing game loop of crafting, building, gathering, farming, and questing with an improved quest system. For Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, the post said players can choose Ultramarine Malum Caedo or Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath in a branching campaign with retro first-person shooter combat. Colorbound was presented as a puzzle-platformer about an Aymara boy using colors to alter the world, shaped by Chilean Andean influences. Ratatan was described as a roguelike rhythm role-playing game with beat-driven commands, random elemental buffs, and post-run upgrades. Tenebris Somnia was outlined as a blend of 2D adventure and survival horror with live-action cutscenes and puzzle and resource mechanics.
Xbox Wire said this is not the final monthly set of the year and asked readers to stay tuned for the first-ever December Selects next month.
