Xbox on Tuesday announced a sweepstakes for a single custom Xbox Series X called the Xbox Series X-BITE. The company said the console sits inside a fabricated alligator and still functions. Only one exists.
Xbox said the console measures more than five feet from snout to tail and is visible through an illuminated Xbox Nexus in the alligator’s body. A matching Xbox Wireless Controller with bite marks rests between the jaws. The company called the result part console and part creature fabrication, with a functioning Xbox Series X at the center.
Xbox said creature animatronics specialists John Nolan Studio created the fabrication through 3D modeling, sculpting, and build work. The studio has worked on “The Witcher,” “Jurassic World Dominion,” and HBO’s upcoming “Harry Potter” series, according to the announcement.
The sweepstakes opens at 9:00 a.m. PT on Nov. 3, 2026, and closes at 11:59 p.m. PT on Nov. 10, 2026. Xbox said there are three entry routes: X, Instagram, or TikTok. To enter, participants must follow @Xbox on their chosen platform, repost the designated Xbox sweepstakes post, manually add #XbiteSweepstakes to the repost, and keep the account public so the entry can be seen.
The company said potential winners will have 48 hours to claim the prize after notification. Xbox stated that no purchase is necessary. The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older. Official rules are posted at the link provided by Xbox. The company said the Xbox Series X-BITE is a custom fabrication and that no actual alligators were used or harmed. It advised that the item is best as display only.
