Google said Chrome’s enhanced autofill feature can now suggest information pulled from Gmail as people fill out online forms. The company announced the change in a blog post dated Oct. 28, 2026.

According to Google, the feature uses Gemini with Personal Intelligence. The company said it can show details such as order numbers, tracking information and flight bookings when a user needs them.

Google said filling out online forms can be tedious, especially when people have to switch between tabs or search their inbox for information. The company said autofill has long handled basics such as a user’s name, address and credit card number.

The company said the new capabilities are beginning to roll out in the United States. They are coming to Chrome on desktop, Android and iOS. They are available to users of Gemini in Chrome who have Personal Intelligence enabled.

Google said sensitive data is encrypted and users remain in control. People can manage whether enhanced autofill is turned on, and what it can access, through Chrome settings, according to the company.

The post did not say how many users will receive the feature or when the rollout will be complete. It also did not say whether the feature will expand beyond the United States. It did not explain how users turn on Personal Intelligence.
