Google said its Google Fitbit Edge fitness tracker is now on shelves. The company announced the availability in an Oct. 30, 2026, post on its blog, The Keyword.
Google describes the Edge as a tracker meant to fit a user’s day from work to workout. The post did not give a price, a list of retailers or the countries where it is sold.
According to Google, the Edge has its largest and brightest tracker display, along with a new screen design. The company said that comparison is to its previous Fitbit trackers. Google also said the device has physical side buttons for easier controls.
The company said the tracker is shaped to contour to the wrist. Google said accessories are available for it. The post did not describe the accessories, colors or sizes.
The Edge works with most phones running Android 11 or higher and Apple iOS 16.4 or higher, according to Google. It requires a Google Account, the Google Health app and an internet connection. Some features require a Google Health Premium subscription, which is sold separately. The post did not say what the subscription costs or which features it covers.
Google said features are subject to change and that availability and results vary. The company also said the tracker is not intended for medical purposes.
The post did not include technical specifications such as battery life or display size. Google pointed readers to support pages at g.co/fitbit/edgesupport and g.co/fitbit/compatibility for more information.
